CUSTOMER PROFILE :
The British Tourist Authority (BTA) works in partnership with the national tourist boards in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales to promote an attractive image of Britain. BTA has offices in Tokyo and Osaka.
CHALLENGE:
The British Tourist Authority required an administrative interface to their existing Web site that would allow their Webmasters to add/modify/ delete/approve the site’s event listing.
The system was to have an interface in both English and Japanese.
RESPONSE:
JLD Technology developed the system to meet the customer’s needs. The system’s specifics were formulated according to the written instructions of the customer’s principal U.K office. When put in place by JLD Technology, it allowed the customer’s offices around the world to access and maintain the event system.
JLD Technology created an interface specifically for the Japanese offices of the British Tourist Authority, involving the development of a fully Japanese version of the existing system.
