Neoteny Intranet

CUSTOMER PROFILE :

Neoteny Co., Ltd., established in 1999, is one of Japan’s leading technology investors. The company is based in Tokyo and its main activities include investing in, developing and supporting Internet related businesses.

CHALLENGE:

Neoteny Co., Ltd. required an Intranet facility to be set up for the company. The Intranet would offer various facilities to the company employees. It would allow addition / modification of Groups, Companies and Staff, provide a Bulletin board, Quick Messaging facility and Library system, and allow the upload of internal documents on the Intranet.

The goal was to have an integrated Intranet system with multiple functions and levels of security for the users of the system.

RESPONSE:

JLD Technology designed the intranet to allow multiple administrators for ensuring effective management of staff, documents, library, companies and groups.

The administrators can search for staff based on criteria such as titles, departments and names. Each staff is assigned permissions and these determine the level of access to the system.
