CASE STUDY:
Technogym Japan Import Export System
CUSTOMER PROFILE :
Technogym Japan Ltd. was established in July 2003. It is a partnership between Sony and Technogym, a market leader in the fitness and biomedical rehabilitation equipment fields.
CHALLENGE:
Technogym Japan had developed many different independent applications and there was certain data that needed to be transferred from one application to another. For security reasons it was not possible for any one system to directly access the database of the other system. This gave rise to the need to develop another application that would act as a medium between the existing applications.
RESPONSE:
On closely studying the customer requirements, JLD Technology proposed the development of a desktop application called the Import Export System (IES). This system would have both GUI and non-GUI modes enabling the Technogym admin to work in the preferred mode.
The IES can be used for all import/export programs. The settings (as .ini files) are provided separately, and based on these settings the system imports and exports data. This ensures that the system can also be used in future by other programs by changing the settings files.
In the GUI mode, the admin can view the error log on the screen. The error file comprises the date/time and description of the error. The non-GUI mode allows the admin to run the program without intervention - all errors are logged to a file.
TECHNOLOGY:

Sendmail™
FEATURES AT A GLANCE :
