CUSTOMER PROFILE :

Space Design Inc. is a leading real estate developer that provides unique and elegant, short- or long-term, offices and apartments (furnished or non-furnished) in Japan. Space Design Inc. also develops and sells condominium apartments and has serviced apartments in Tokyo.

CHALLENGE:

Space Design Inc. wanted to develop a Web-based property search engine that would allow its users to search for rooms or studios online in Space Design’s Bureau Serviced Apartments. The search engine would allow room bookings to be made up to 30 days from the current date.

The proposed Vacancy Search Engine would also comprise an Admin section. The main challenge for JLD Technology was to develop the search logic that would enable the system to identify the vacant rooms and display them based on the search logic set in the Admin section.

RESPONSE:

JLD Technology developed a system that allows customers to book an available room or studio in any of the three Space Design Inc. buildings. They can search for rooms by specifying appropriate criteria. If the customers come from one of the building websites, the system automatically displays the options related to that building in the search criteria.

The basic search criteria for the customers include location, purpose, layout and monthly rent. The advanced search section allows customers to search for available rooms by specifying the brand only, brand and building only, or brand, building and type.
