Toin Project Management System

CUSTOMER PROFILE :

Toin Corporation is a leading Japanese provider of comprehensive globalization solutions that delivers strategy consulting, technical communication, product localization and multi-language Web content creation and management services to various companies.

CHALLENGE:

Toin Corporation was exploring the idea of developing a Web based portal that would allow the company staff to regularly update the project status and provide clients with the facility to view the project status online.

The system would have different types of users, each with access to certain sections of the site based on pre-defined user permissions

RESPONSE:

JLD Technology developed the Toin Project Management System with four types of users – admin, project manager, internal user, and external user (client).

Only the main admin can add projects to the system and assign the project manager to each project.  Project managers can view/update the status of various projects, assign tasks to internal users, and view/approve the task notes. External users (clients) can view only those task notes that have been approved by the project manager.

Internal users can view the tasks assigned to them and update the task status. They can also add notes for their tasks and view the task notes.
